THE WILDWOOD EXPERIENCE

We offer an idyllic, country setting for tent, trailer and RV camping as well as our GroveGlamping Village. Don’t miss out on the chance to enjoy late night singing under the stars and waking up to local coffee and amazing breakfast options. Plus, we have outdoor showers!

Night two of the festival wraps up with a rock and soul dance party. We’ll be spinning a hand-selected mix of the most danceable popular and obscure 50’s and 60’s Rock and Roll, Soul, Doo Wop, Garage Rock and more.

We love food as much as music, so rest assured what’s on our menu is not an afterthought. Our food inspirations are drawn from yearly travels both domestic and abroad, so we change it up each festival and always incorporate local, seasonal ingredients whenever possible. Sign up for one of our culinary or beer/cocktail workshops and demos below from our sponsors Creature Comforts Beer and Cathead Vodka.

Our Vendor Market features handcrafted leather goods, unique jewelry, vintage clothing, herbal apothecary, tintype photography, kitchen wares, modern-folk pop art and more. It’s a cultural revival; what’s old is new again.

William Coile is a performance artist specializing in the art of magic and theatre. His goal is to create an imaginative experience through storytelling. An Evening of Wonder is a narrative-based immersive magic show that will awaken your curiosity. To put it plainly, this is more than your Uncle’s card tricks. The act includes 1-hour of intellectual curiosities and mind-bending experiences. Minds will be read, objects will disappear, and razor blades will be consumed. We invite you to embrace the unknown and lean into wonder.

In the digital era, it’s easy to forget how photography started. Athens-based photographer SalvageSparrow will be taking portraits using an antique process invented in 1842 called Tintype Photography. Tintype is a wet-plate process whereby chemicals are applied to metal and then an image is exposed directly and developed on the spot. Have a unique, one-of-a-kind portrait made and keep this lost art alive.

On the way to grab that morning Bloody Mary, guests take the road to Nirvana first. Our local Yoga studio in Athens {Fuel Hot Yoga} will be balancing guests out on Saturday morning before another music-filled day.

Grab a gourmet biscuit and mimosa and listen to the tunes of local favorites Packway Handle Band. Packway’s sound is steeped in old-fashioned bluegrass, but they hold a niche in the American music realm that’s all their own with clever songwriting and an eccentric mixture of modern folk music. Our kind of people, our kind of brunch.

Our favorite publishing and media group, The Bitter Southerner, brings you "Folklore by The Fire" featuring folk tales, urban legends and southern gothic adventures as told by storyteller and musician JP Harris, who began traveling the country, often alone, hitchhiking and hopping freight trains while making his living as a farm laborer, shepherd, woodsman, and carpenter in his early teens. Watch the 'smores melt down while listening to the stories of Southern folklore more than a hundred years old.

Gospel Brunch for One and All! Starting at 10:00am and featuring a mouth-watering menu and bloody marys so good they’d make your pastor blush, courtesy of CatheadVodka. Performed by a host of the weekend’s featured artists, the event will culminate in an open mic for anyone and everyone to gather round (bring your instrument). Hallelujah!

Lumberjaxe is the ultimate axe throwing experience for those seeking a bit of release and some friendly competition. And hey, It's cheaper than therapy.
